Something not working, or a question about your account? Write to us and a person will read it.
Email us with what happened and what you expected instead. If it's about a session, telling us roughly when it was helps us find it. If it's about billing, tell us whether you subscribed on the web or in the iPhone app — they are billed by different companies.
We answer every message, usually within one business day.
Grouped by what you're trying to do. If yours isn't here, email us.
Either. You can sign up and practise entirely in your browser at interviewzap.com, entirely in the iPhone app, or move between them. It is one account and one plan either way, and your opportunities, sessions and reports appear in both.
On the web, use Sign Up with an email address and password, or continue with Apple, Google or LinkedIn. The iPhone app offers the same four. Whichever you pick the first time is how you sign in afterwards, so if you started with Google on the web, use Google in the app too.
A job you're interviewing for and your CV. Paste the job description and either paste your CV as text or upload a PDF or DOCX. Questions are generated from both together, which is what makes them specific to you rather than generic.
Check your spam folder first. If it isn't there, email us and we will verify the address manually — you can keep using your account in the meantime.
No. You can type every answer. Voice mode is optional and available on every plan including Free — questions are read aloud, your microphone opens by itself, and your answer submits when you pause.
Voice mode needs microphone and speech recognition permission. If you declined either, iOS will not ask again — turn them on in iOS Settings under InterviewZap. In a browser, check the site permissions for interviewzap.com. You can always type instead.
Yes. You can answer again before moving on, and you can run the same opportunity as many times as your plan allows — most people improve fastest by repeating the same questions with a tougher interviewer.
Start with Emma, who is warm and supportive, then move to James for a structured round. Marcus tests you under pressure and Diana demands evidence for every claim. Free includes Emma; the other three come with Ready and Pro.
Free gives you 3 sessions a month with Emma, voice mode, immediate feedback on every answer, and a session score. Ready removes the session limit, unlocks all four interviewers, and adds full thread feedback with scores, the session summary report, the competency breakdown and the interviewer's verdict. Pro adds everything in Ready plus progress tracking across sessions, weak spot identification, and insights carried into your next session.
The full comparison is on the pricing page.
Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during it, and cancelling before it ends means you are not charged at all. One trial is available per person, so moving between Ready and Pro does not start a second one.
It depends where you subscribed. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple bills you and you cancel in iOS Settings — tap your name, then Subscriptions, then InterviewZap. If you subscribed on the web, cancel from the billing page in your profile.
Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access until the period you have already paid for ends.
Open the plan screen in the app and tap Restore purchases — that re-sends the purchase to us and applies it. If it still hasn't changed, email us with the date of the purchase and we will fix it from our side.
Yes, and it replaces your existing subscription rather than adding a second one. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down takes effect at your next renewal.
Purchases made in the iPhone app are refunded by Apple, not by us — request one through reportaproblem.apple.com. For web subscriptions, email us and we will sort it out.
Only you. Your CV, job descriptions, answers and reports are private to your account. They are not shown to other users and are not published anywhere.
Your profile has a Delete account option, which removes your account along with the sessions, reports and CVs attached to it. What we store and for how long is set out in our privacy policy.
Both are in your profile settings. Changing your email sends a verification link to the new address. If you signed in with Apple, Google or LinkedIn, your password is managed by them rather than by us.
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Questions and feedback are generated by AI from your CV and the job description. It is fast, specific and available at midnight before an interview — but it is not a human coach, and for senior or highly specialised roles a human still adds something we do not. Our comparison page is honest about where each is worth it.
Stop hoping you'll remember what to say. Start building the confidence that means you won't need to hope. Sign up free — your first session starts in minutes.
